Chief Executive Officer
Appointed CEO in 2013. Chuka Agu holds a Computing degree from the University of Portsmouth. Mr. Agu has over a decade of experience in Financial Services, Business Consulting, Client & Partner Relationship Management, Marketing & Sales.
Chuka is currently CEO and is responsible for leading the development and execution of Neptune Groups’ long-term strategy and has overseen Neptune Group’s year-on-year growth, new product development, and has taken the business into new unexplored markets.
Steve Phillips
Group System Administrator
A computer veteran of nearly 40 years, predominantly in data center operations. Initially managing networks, and then progressing to running the entire operations team, as IT Director.
Steve is a member of the British Computer Society and has worked in diverse industries such as Metal semi fabrication, food distribution, petrochemical, Insurance, and Banking software companies.

Adeniyi Badejo
Regional Director (West Africa)
Niyi Badejo is a seasoned financial technology professional with over two decades of experience covering financial services and Information technology. Niyi, a Banking and Finance graduate from Olabisi Onabanjo University, has an impressive career journey. He started at Omega Bank and briefly worked at Trade Bank (Nigeria) Plc before joining leading banking technology provider Computer System Associates Ltd (CSA), where he progressed from a Business Consultant to a Sales Manager. With his wealth of experience and expertise, Niyi is set to embark on a new chapter in his career as he takes on the role of Regional Head of West Africa. His innovative approach and deep knowledge of the fintech landscape make him a valuable asset to drive growth and innovation in the region’s financial technology sector.
Thomas Waltair
Regional Director (India)
Thomas Waltair joined Neptune Software Group in 2006 as the very first member of Neptune’s India office in Chennai. He is the Head of product engineering for Neptune’s flagship universal core banking products Rubikon and Orbit-R. He is responsible for the entire offshore product engineering team comprising 100+ members.
Thomas sits on the Neptune India’s Board as the Executive Director. He handles the global product support and is responsible for the sales process in the region. Before joining the Neptune group, Waltair worked at Accenture Technology Group and CSC. He holds a Masters in Computer Applications from Madras University, Chennai.
George Ochieng
Regional Director (East Africa)
George joined Neptune Software Ltd in 2009, bringing with him extensive experience in the Banking and Microfinance sectors. Prior to this, he spent 10 years at NIC Bank, where he held management roles in Finance and Operations, before advancing to the position of Chief Financial Officer at Opportunity International (Kenya).
With deep expertise in organizational and process change management, as well as financial systems adaptation within the banking industry, George has successfully led numerous projects across East Africa. For the past decade, he has overseen client support, ensured consistent and high-quality service delivery while building a team dedicated and passionate in creating value for customers.
George holds a Master of Business Administration degree from Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology and is a Certified Public Accountant of Kenya. He also has a Diploma in Information Systems from Strathmore University.
